"If You Give a _____ a _____"

How many of you are familiar with this series? (p.s. if there is a phrase that is a different color and underline click on it...it's a link.)
I decided to write my own.
This is a true story, very little embellishing at all...I'm embarrassed to admit that!
If you take Lynne to the grocery store she's going to buy two cart loads of groceries. When she gets home she will realize she ALREADY HAS bread crumbs, eggs, two bags of bread flour and three, almost empty, bags of whole wheat flour. When she sees how much stuff she has in her cabinets she decides to organize and consolidate a little bit. Then she moves to the refrigerator and notices she needs to clean and organize that, too. When she cleans it out she finds a picked over chicken from two nights ago and decides to boil it down to make stock/soup. While in there she finds some peaches and apples that need to be used quickly so she cuts them up for apple crisp and apple bread (for Peanut's field trip to the orchard on Tuesday) and some peach cobbler (breakfast tomorrow). While she's getting ready to make these delectable delights she realizes she's a spaz and probably has ADHD and realizes she's just like the moose, pig, mouse, cat and whatever other animal is out there getting stuff and thinks about her own version of the story. When she comes up with this story she thinks it's a great idea for her blog post so she goes to sit at the computer. While sitting at the computer typing she realizes she smells stock simmering on the stove and remembers she has apples and peaches waiting to be made into crisp/bread/cobbler! She's going to go make the crisp/bread/cobbler and realize she forgot something and...have to go back to the grocery store!!

HAHAHAHA...and somehow, it's all linked to the infamous trip to the grocery store! THIS is EXACTLY why it takes you 3 hours to unload your groceries!! You're too busy creating childrens stories!!!
