Post Christmas Excitement

Saturday was "Gift Certificate Redemption Day" but first a trip to see Mimi...

...and Chavez...her adopted great granddog.

HotRod loved that Chavez jumped on his lap but grossed out when he found out what the "dangly things" were on his hind quarters. LOL!

Also, we noticed a shaved spot on the dog's side and asked Mimi about it.

Apparently Chevez doesn't realize how old he is.

(I know he's old but not how old...

he doesn't have a lot of teeth left...I know that.)

Anyway, Chavez got a little frisky, despite his age, with another dog and put out his hip and required surgery! LOL!!!

Last year we got Mimi a "Racing Granny" track. Two old ladies in wheelchairs on a racetrack. It was for her and her girlfriends...she got it out for the boys on Saturday. It's always fun to watch!

Off to LLBean's...the boys LOVED going inside the tank...

Olive Garden for late lunch. When the table next to us got up to leave the lady came over and complimented us on our well-behaved children. DH looked over his shoulder to make sure she was talking to us then graciously accepted the compliment.

Apparently she didn't see this...LOL!

Wal-Mart, Target, S&K Mens Shop, GameStop...too much shopping for me!!
